Cauliflower Steak


  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil


  • 4 tbs pitted green olives
  • 1 tablespoon baby capers, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • extra chopped parsley


  1. Preheat oven to 320F and spread olive oil on baking sheet
  2. Cut cauliflower into 1 inch wide pieces, like steaks (as pictured above)
  3. put cauliflower on baking sheets and drizzle with more olive oil
  4. Roast in oven for 30 minutes
  5. Increase oven temperature to 450 for 10 minutes until browned. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  6. Mix all ingredients for salsa together
  7. Spoon prepared salsa over the cauliflower steaks. Sprinkle with salt pepper and more parsley
